Our Secretary-General, Mr. Vakkas Çolak, and our association’s former president, Mr. Mehmet Yücel, attended the International Kurdish Conference held in Brussels.

The EU Turkey Civic Commission (EUTCC) will hold its 19th International Conference on EU, Turkey, and the Kurds on 26-27 March 2025 at the European Parliament. The conference will be focused on ongoing conflicts, political uncertainties, and efforts toward a political solution to the Kurdish issue in Turkey. Discussions will emphasize the EU’s role in promoting peace and democracy in the region.

The EUTCC, in collaboration with The Left, the Greens-European Free Alliance, and the Socialists and Democrats, will host the event, which will gather politicians, academics, activists, and civil society organizations. For 19 years, these conferences have drawn international attention to the Kurdish issue and democratic developments in Turkey.
